BOYSCAMP was founded on May 18, 1998 at Old Poblacion, Escalante City, Philippines due to an inspiration from a book entitled "Creative Ideas for Youth Ministry." Thank you Lord for the vision to organize a solid group of boys who are ready to serve our community! There were problems encountered along the way as to its survival as a group, brought about by conflicts in human relations. But what i saw through the years was that as long as I’m alive and the spirit of youthfulness within me is still there, this group will exist continually, for always! I would like to share this inspiration hoping it may encourage leaders not to give up with what they've started. For as long as there is a divine motivation, your dream will never die. If there is something I had accomplished in life that i am proud of, it would be the BOYSCAMP. I could live and die with this legacy of forming the minds and hearts of the young.

Cory Aquino. The first woman president of the Philippines and Asia. The “plain housewife” who never in her wildest dreams had thought that she would someday become president, let alone become one of the most respected and beloved political figures in Philippine history. She was named ‘Woman of the Year’ by Times Magazine, in 1986, for her fight to overthrow the 20 years dictatorial regime of Ferdinand E. Marcos. In 1992, as her term grew to an end, President Aquino refused to seek reelection. By this, she tried to set an example and make people aware that the post of the President was never permanent. Today, Corazon Aquino is fondly remembered as the ‘Mother of Philippine Democracy’ by many Filipinos.

During an interview on Gandang Gabi Vice, Aga revealed that Charlene, his wife, never became his girlfriend in real life. Instead of going through the usual dating phase, there just came a moment when he realized that Charlene was "The One" for him. Aga said, "One day, we were all out tapos parang kinilabutan ako. Sabi ko, 'Parang si Charlene magiging asawa ko,' "I saw something in her. For an hour we were just talking and talking and talking. I realized it's her!" The Oki Doki Doc team was shooting in Singapore when Aga casually but sincerely popped the question—no ring, no photographer, no grandiose gestures either. "Casual na tanungan lang. I have a question, 'Will you marry m

Rodrigo Duterte, the President! "Digong" rose to prominence as the Mayor of Davao City, Philippines. The change in Davao City from one of the most dangerous places to one of the safest is impressive. If Duterte could implement that Davao City discipline nationwide, the country will be a much better place for everyone. He has a simple lifestyle despite being a Mayor -- he even uses an ordinary phone and wears simple clothes. Duterte lives a simpler life than most politicians. Duterte is considered as an “outsider.” A man from Davao City, running an election against deeply-rooted rivals with deep political machinery; given that a lot of Filipinos are on Facebook right now, the movement to get Duterte elected as President seems like it comes from a grassroots movement. 16 million voted for him in the elections partly as a result of that. Like any politician, Duterte knows all about power play and how to use situations to his advantage. He has his own ideas about
